Xeomin is an injectable neuromodulator to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Things to know…
- 3 days prior to treatment avoid all anti-inflammatoriy medications. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, steroids, prednisone or products containing these compounds. They can increase your risk of bruising.
- Avoid fish-oil supplements for 1-2 weeks before injections, if possible, to help prevent bruising after injections.
- Avoid alcoholic beverages the day before and the day of treatment.
- Please allow FOUR (4) weeks BEFORE AND AFTER any vaccine before receiving filler.
- Do not lie down 4-6 hours after treatment.
- Do not rub or ice areas of injection.
- Avoid intense exercise for 12-24 hours after injection.
- Bruising can be treated with Revision Vitamin K or Sinecchi (arnica).
